This thought came with me this morning after a friend told me she is hesitant to post because she doesn't think she can express her thoughts as nicely as others. This made me think of a friend who about 6 or 7 years ago joined a bible study my husband was in. It was this friend's first Catholic bible study and most of the people in the group had been studying together for several years. This friend felt that she couldn't measure up so she dropped. But just think. If this friend had persevered she would now have 6 or 7 years of bible study experience and she would be helping to welcome new students. We all have to start somewhere. We all have to swallow our pride and, for the sake of growth, begin somewhere. I invite all of you who may be hesitant about blogging and about posting your reflections to dive into this blog and, with a prayer, start blogging. .... This is not for everyone but give it a try and see if it helps your spiritual journey.
I will be attending an Opus Dei silent women's retreat in Valparaiso, Indiana from Monday - Wednesday of this week. Please keep me in your prayers and surprise me with a few postings when I return. God bless you all.
Ruth
