A Good Lent
Hi friends, My name is Julia and I was ask to join this blog by Ruth. I live in Palatine, IL and I have never been part of a blog before. For many years I have shared Lent with my Small Christian Community. Sadly, our group has gone in different directions the last six months, so I have been looking for new opportunities for spiritual growth. I know the Holy Spirit has given me this new way of "doing Lent" so I am open to try. My technology skills are limited, but hopefully having an open heart to new learning will make up for that. I am looking forward to the reading and being part of this Lenten journey with all of you. Let's have a good Lent! julia

Hi Julia, I doubt we can take the place of your faith sharing group but we are glad that you are going to join us in this lenten adventure. I am sure the Lord will bless our efforts, if not from the book itself, through the sharing. I pray the Holy Spirit blesses all our lenten commitments including this new way of "doing Lent" for all of us. I am so excited about Lent this year. I don't want to waste a day of it. .... I hope you enjoy blogging and do ask any questions about blogging .... not that I can answer them all but I am sure the others can also help. ... You are always a blessing to us.
